Our instructors

  • Master Jenny Matsuoka 6TH Degree Kukkiwon Black Belt in Taekwondo.

    Master Jenny Matsuoka is a 6TH degree Kukkiwon Black belt in Taekwondo. She trained under Master Rick Moore of Cincinnati, Ohio and was president of the Georgia Taekwondo Association for 2 terms. She has previously served as an A2-Continental Referee for the USA Taekwondo and is a level 2 coach for USA Taekwondo. She has twice won the Gold medal in Black Belt Sparring, competing in the USTU Executive Senior Taekwondo National Championships.She has been an instructor of children and adults taekwondo classes for 26 years.

  • Master Doug Matsuoka is a 4TH Degree Kukkiwon Black Belt in Taekwondo.

    Black Belt in Taekwondo and a level 2 USA Taekwondo coach. He is also a Black belt in Judo, Shorin Ryu Karate, and Aikido. He is the founder of the Goshinbudo Jujitsu style that he teaches. Master Doug uses speed training, correct technique, and consistant training discipline to create athletes that are successful in multi-sport venues.

  • Maclane Matsuoka is a 3RD Degree Kukkiwon Black Belt in Taekwondo.

    Maclane has competed in taekwondo for 15 years. He was a member the Tekno Taekwondo Team and fought in tournaments in Germany. He has an eye for the competitive strengths and weaknesses of a taekwondo athlete and is a good motivator for those training for competition

  • Debbie Hirsch is a 3RD Dan Black Belt.

    She has been training in taekwondo for over 10 years. She will encourage anyone to overcome their difficulties and let taekwondo become a part of their life. She is currently instructing at the Salvation Army.

  • Keith Josey is a 2nd Degree Kukkiwon Black Belt.

    He has been training in various martial arts for over 10 years. He has been a black belt for 3 years and is the instructor at the Richmond Hill Branch of Savannah Taekwondo. He brings a Christ-like spirit of love and patience to his students.
